Anzenas is Cantina di Dolianova’s expression of Cannonau — Sardinia’s most emblematic red grape. A wine that reflects the island’s warmth, generosity and long tradition of producing food-focused reds.

Grown in vineyards across southern Sardinia, Cannonau benefits from abundant sunshine and Mediterranean breezes, producing wines with ripe fruit, gentle structure and a naturally smooth profile. Anzenas is a classic example: approachable yet characterful, with depth without heaviness.

On the nose, it shows ripe red berries, subtle spice and hints of dried herbs. The palate is warm and rounded, with soft tannins, balanced acidity and notes of cherry, plum and a touch of savoury spice. Easy to enjoy, but with enough structure to pair confidently with food.

This is Cannonau in its most authentic form — honest, comforting and unmistakably Sardinian.

The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness to preserve balance and varietal character. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures to extract colour and flavour while maintaining softness. The wine is aged to allow tannins to integrate, resulting in a rounded, approachable style suited to both everyday meals and relaxed occasions.
