Full Description

Dolia Vermentino di Sardegna DOC is a refined and expressive interpretation of Sardinia’s most recognised white grape, offering a more polished and varietal-focused style.

Produced in southern Sardinia by Cantina di Dolianova, it reflects the island’s warm Mediterranean climate, where sunshine is balanced by cooling sea breezes that help preserve freshness and aromatic clarity.

Vermentino thrives in these coastal conditions, developing bright citrus character alongside subtle herbal notes and a gentle mineral edge. The result is a wine that balances vibrancy with texture, delivering both immediate freshness and a more structured, food-friendly profile.

On the nose: Aromas of lemon zest, white peach and green apple rise from the glass, complemented by delicate Mediterranean herbs and a light saline minerality.

On the palate: Crisp and refreshing, driven by lively acidity and a clean citrus core. The finish is precise and lightly savoury, with a subtle almond note typical of Vermentino, adding depth and balance.

Elegant yet approachable, Dolia Vermentino is equally suited to aperitivo moments or pairing with seafood, light pasta dishes and Mediterranean cuisine.

Winemaking & Production

Carefully selected Vermentino grapes are harvested to retain their natural freshness and aromatic intensity. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, allowing the purity of the fruit to shine while preserving crisp acidity and clean varietal character.

The wine is then rested briefly on fine lees to add texture and balance, enhancing its mouthfeel without compromising its vibrant, refreshing style.

Why Cantina Di Dolianova

Cantina di Dolianova is one of southern Sardinia’s most respected producers, known for combining modern winemaking techniques with deep-rooted local expertise.

Working closely with growers across the region, the winery focuses on expressing Sardinia’s indigenous grape varieties with clarity and consistency. The Dolia range in particular is designed to highlight varietal character in a clean, contemporary style — wines that are both authentic and easy to enjoy.

Elegant yet approachable, Dolia Vermentino is equally suited to aperitivo moments or pairing with seafood, light pasta dishes and Mediterranean cuisine.
