Full Description

A wine that combines classic Mediterranean warmth with expressive fruit and smooth finish. Sourced from vineyards surrounding Dolianova on clay-limestone soils, this Carignano reflects the island’s sub-arid climate, showing both ripe depth and refreshing balance. 

In the glass, Falconaro shows an intense ruby red colour with garnet highlights as it matures. The nose is inviting and enveloping, offering aromas of ripe dark berries, forest floor and subtle spice. On the palate, the wine reveals a medium-bodied structure with velvety tannins, warm fruit and persistent finish — rich enough to satisfy, yet smooth and easy to enjoy.

Winemaking & Production

The grapes are hand-harvested and undergo traditional red vinification with destemming and maceration on the skins to extract colour and flavour. After fermentation and malolactic conversion, the wine rests in cement tanks that preserve its natural balance and highlight the varietal character of Carignano.
